Identification and Analysis of Parameters and Global Experiences of Hospital Preparedness Against Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Disasters: A Scoping Review

Context: Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRNs) disasters represent a disconcerting event for governments, health care providers, the public, hospitals need to be prepared cope with such disasters. Therefore, present scoping review was conducted identify analyze parameters global experiences of hospital preparedness against CBRN Methods: The study is that examines English Persian databases including PubMed, Scopus, Web Science, Science Direct, Google Scholar, Jihad Daneshgahi Scientific Information Database (SID), Iranian Research Institute Technology, Magiran, Iranmedex. Reviewing studies found on search bases carried out in three stages; title, abstract full text. According refined studies, data were extracted order meet objectives respond research questions. Results: In initial search, 1104 articles identified. First, reviewed terms duplication, year publication, abstract, relevance topic, finally, 17 met inclusion criteria incorporated systematic process. Finally, 8 primary issues addressed (1) Staff training, (2) Planning deal disasters, (3) Personal protection equipment, (4) Risk perception, (5) Decontamination medical centers wards, (6) Detection infection, (7) Availability drugs antidotes, (8) presence professionals staff discussed. findings reported by various revealed shortcomings above eight areas. Conclusions: Most have begun undertake activities follow special program this purpose.
